After RIM put the BlackBerry Storm 2 on the official BlackBerry website, the 9530 version of the touchscreen device made an official appearance on the official Vodafone UK website. The BlackBerry Storm 2 release date is October 26 and it can yours for free if you agree to plans £35 per month. The EU version of the Storm 2 features the same 3.25-inch 480 x 360 touchscreen with electric SurePress technology, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, single-band 2100MHz UMTS/HSPA, 256MB flash memory, 2GB of on-board storage, built-in GPS, 1400mAh battery, and the same 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus.

Another addition to the BlackBerry Storm 2 is the BlackBerry OS 5.0 which will be officially released to in UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, and Spain. Well, there you have it folks. You ask for it, you got it. The BlackBerry Storm 2 release date is October 26, and this means that Verizon might get it by the end of October, but for the moment we’re sticking to our first-week-of-November prediction.
